Joseph's Jamboree

This year since Joseph's birthday was on Easter and there was so much going on we had a simple family party at our house this weekend. We had a music theme for the party since Joseph LOVES music, any time he hears it he starts to dance (or if he is strapped into his car seat he will clap and kick his legs). While it was Joseph's Jamboree there were traces of March Madness at the party since we did also have to recognize the fact that Xavier made it to the Elite Eight, unfortunately they did not move on. Thank you to everyone who made it and for all of the wonderful toys and clothes for Joseph, Blogger is continuing to be a pain and will not allow me to upload pictures right now so when I get a chance I will be back with pix.
Joseph's Drum Cake, of course it had to be a Xavier drum. It didn't take long for Joseph to leave the cake behind and grab a drumstick to much on while visiting with his guests.
Nana and Papa enjoying some of the snacks, Papa was loving the Guac. I'll have to keep that in mind for our next gathering.

Joseph knew just what to do to get into his gifts this year! In fact opening the gifts was the best part of the day to him.

Joseph getting ready to blow out his candles, he did blow one out as soon as Bryan lit it so we had to relight it while we waited for everyone to gather and sing.
