heart healthyWe have entered the Cheerios stage!

Joseph is at the age where he can not put enough Cheerios in his mouth fast enough! It is amazing, it does not matter how much he has just eaten of his real food he always has room for Cheerios!
The girls had their dentist appointments yesterday and they did great! Both of them sat in the chair without a tear and let the dentist check their teeth, Eileen even had x-rays done! The dentist we go to is amazing, the girls left singing about how much they love the dentist and asking when they could go again. Going to this guy is like taking the kids to a controlled birthday party, they sing songs, wear props and leave with a goody bag!

Photo Update!
Ok, I think I figured out the computer, I just put the memory card in the tower (how simple). By the way I am loving having a c and x again (Cherub I have cap. c again!)

This is a picture from Eileen's Pow Wow, held the Friday prior to Thanksgiving. Can you find our little brave among her tribe? (She is directly behind the "fire").

A picture of the girls enjoying Chinese food at the breakfast bar. Notice the different forms of eating, Eileen using chopsticks and Olivia pouring sweet and sour sauce over all of her food.
Another beautiful table set by Papa, nice work!

Jonathan picking from another perfect turkey made by Nana, thank you for another amazing Thanksgiving feast everything was perfect!

Eileen in her Thanksgiving outfit, she could not wait to put it on.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa's house last week! It was so great to have the whole family sitting around the table again, I don't think it will happen again until next year and then we will be preparing for the wedding of Jonathan and Sigan! The kids had a great time there was an almost endless supply of people willing to take them to the park or just outside on the swings at the house. It was so nice to be able to spend some time with my family, and I got out with my friends one night, of course there was also all the good food to eat! Bryan and I were able to go out one night with 2 of my brothers, which was so nice! I did take some pictures while we were there but we just got a new computer (yesterday!!) so I am not sure how to upload the pictures yet, as soon as I read the instruction manual I will post the pictures. I hope everyone had as great a time over the long weekend as we did, now it is off and running to the next holiday!

Joseph is crawling!
Last weekend we went to Madison so Bryan could attend a Badger game with his friends and the kids and I could spend some time with Nana and Papa. While the girls were distracted by all of the toys, the swing set and all the attention Joseph took advantage of the time by showing me he is officially mobile! Right now his is on his way from the family room to the living room where I am typing, he is feeling a little frustrated because I think he is stuck on the threshold between the two rooms, poor guy. It is so funny to watch him because he crawls like an inch worm, first move the legs then the arms, in just the past few days though he has gotten faster, at times too fast and the face plants.
Last week on Friday Eileen had a Pow-Wow at school, it was really cute. The kids sang a bunch of songs and danced around the "fire", she had a blast! I have some pictures to post but for the moment the camera is in the car.
We are getting ready to go to my parents for another wonderful Thanksgiving! Everyone is going to be there this year, Jonathan and his frinend arrive today, we will go in tomorrow morning, Sigan's flight comes in tomorrow afternoon, and the MN crew (Mike, Jen, Gwendolyn, and Benjamin) should be there tomorrow night! It should be a really nice visit and we hope to get a family picture out of the long weekend. It will also be the first time I see Jonathan and Sigan since they got engaged, I can't wait to hear about all the wedding plans!
Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Joseph can stand!
Ok, not really, but if he is put in the standing position at his table he can stay like that for a short while all on his own!

What a week!
Last week Bryan was on vacation so we made the most of it! We began the week with our new living room furnature being delivered, so we had to arrange and decorate the room (for the first time since we moved in). Bryan was thus motivated to take on the tasks of completing the breakfast bar, painting the back hall and laundry room- the house is really starting to come together! We still have the front hall, up the stairs, upstairs hall and our room that have not yet been touched, we will get there though.
This week Bryan also got to be "Room Dad" for the day at Eileen's school, she loved having him come into her class and showing him off! That afternoon we had Eileen's Parent teacher confrence, I still have a difficult time sitting on this side of the desk! She is doing very well in school and the only area she needs to work on is she has a difficult time with the children who do not follow the class rules, what a type A child! So we have since talked to her about continuing to sit by the children who may not be following the rules so you can show them the right way to behave.
Bryan and I were also able to get out of the house on our own one night, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa coming up to watch the kids. After dinner we found this great little German bar, in where else but Germantown, they have over a hundered beers from all around the world, definetly a place to go back to. We really are getting too old for this because we were still home before 9pm!
On Friday we took the kids to the childen's museum, it was Bryan's first time there. We had such a great time, the girls were all over the place looking at everything and very hands on!
