March Madness!
Updated with pictures
OK, let’s see what I can get done between now and the next meltdown. Please be patient with me, for some unknown reason I can not get the pictures to upload from the computer to the blog...I will keep working on it but I wanted to get this part done at least while I had a chance.
I guess I should start at the beginning. The weekend of March 1st, Bryan and I got away for a long weekend-THANK YOU, THANK YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA! My cousin Emily got married in downtown Cincinnati, so while Grandma and Grandpa had the kiddos Bryan and I were able to attend the wedding and have a little extra time too!
A rare picture of just Bryan and I
With everything downtown we were able to walk from the hotel to the church to the reception site, very cool!
The guys walking to church
While at the reception Jonathan and Bryan had a little too much fun with Kelly's purse (makes more sense with pictures).
Jonathan with the purse, with blogger being funky I wasn't able to post all of them right now...
The next day I took Bryan to Xavier for a quick tour before it started to rain, and then we were off for a Zip burger, mmmmmm. It was great to be down there again, it is not the same campus I went to, much nicer now, but fun to see it all again.
After we got home from our long weekend Bryan was on vacation and planning to get a lot of work done in the basement...well some how he threw out his back about 5 min. after we walked in the door! So while he was laid up on the couch we had our MOMS Egg hunt at the library, the kids had a blast collecting eggs and making their craft.

Joseph loves to put everything on his head, anyone remember the movie Parenthood?

Joseph enjoying his loot, he had so much fun running around collecting his eggs!

Olivia working on her bunny project, she works so hard on her work and just LOVES to draw!
The other big news is Olivia got glasses! She looks adorable, and she is so proud of her new pink and blue glasses! Everyday she has to decide which ones to wear with her outfit.

Olivia showing off her new glasses, and her TWO pink princess cases!
On St. Patrick's Day (my camera died so no pictures of the kids in their green), but we did enjoy our green eggs, toast and juice for breakfast! Bryan made the kids green milk shakes for treat which was the perfect end to our green day!
All the kids (yes, I do mean all 4-he, he) enjoying their green mint milkshakes!
We spent the end of the week watching the NCAA tournament, there was some great games but most of all (since our brackets are not doing very well) we are just excited that both Xavier and UW are in the sweet 16! (Eileen and Olivia have higher expectations than Bryan and I since they have those two teams in the final for their brackets-I would love to be wrong if they could be right!).
On Friday March 21, 2008 Liam Maximilian McMahon joined the family! He was born at 11: 55pm and weighed 2lbs. 4oz. he came about 13 weeks early but is doing well from what I hear. Jen is recovering from an emergency c-section; please keep all of them in your prayers.
Saturday we colored eggs which were such a process I didn't get a single picture but the kids loved it! I did get some pictures of the kids playing with their Easter play dough (from last year!).
The kids having fun with their play dough.
Easter Sunday/Joseph's Birthday the girls were up nice and early, they could not wait to get into their dresses! After breakfast they got dressed for church, and we woke Joseph up got him dressed and gave him his food to eat in the car and we were on time for mass (even early enough to get a seat!). When we came home from mass the kids were ready to find the eggs and their baskets. Joseph was great at finding the eggs and he didn't want any help! The girls got into the swing of things and quickly all the eggs and baskets were found.

Eileen and Olivia looking for eggs, of course in the exact same spot!
One of the hidden eggs, just flying around in Diego's helicopter.

Joseph finding his first eggs of the morning.
Grandma and Grandpa joined us for lunch/dinner and birthday cake. Joseph was so excited to blow out the birthday candles!

Joseph was so excited it was finally time to blow out his candles. All morning we kept saying "Happy Birthday", singing to him, the girls were calling him "The Birthday Boy" but I don't think he really got any of it...until I was done frosting the cake and put the candles on top! Then he started singing and wanted me to pick him up so he could blow out the candles.

Joseph was so proud of himself once he had blown out the candles.
The girls enjoying their hot chocolate while they wait for their slice of cake.
Olivia looking through her basket from Grandma and Grandpa.
Eileen looking through her new tin box from Grandma and Grandpa.

Joseph enjoying the Peep from his cake, hence the bath that soon followed!
After Grandma and Grandpa left the kids had their baths (to wash off some of the candy, cake, hot chocolate from the day!), Joseph opened his gifts and then it was off to bed.
Joseph really got into opening gifts this year.
Joseph couldn't wait to see what was in this HUGE bag.
We had a lovely day at home and heard that Liam was breathing on his own and Jen was able to hold him for over an hour...what a blessed day for our family.
