What a Fun Weekend!
The girls didn't have school this Friday so we spent the day visiting family. We had our first visit with Emma and Lori as a new Mom. Emma is so cute and slept the whole time we were there, but did wake up at the very end of out visit so we got to see her eyes. We can't wait to see them again.
Emma, such a sound sleeper!
Eileen holding her newest cousin, thanks Lori!
After our visit with Lori and Emma we stopped by a nearby park for lunch. It was very wet so we couldn't play on the playground but it was nice to be able to eat outside again!
Eileen checking out her PB&J
Olivia working on her lunch
Joseph enjoying his lunch
While we were eating there were some geese that also thought it was a great day for lunch at the park, the kids were very interested in watching them!
The geese are in the background in this picture. After our lunch we got on the road and headed to Madison for a visit. It was such a nice day (the last of them) that when we got there we decided to go for a walk and made an impromptu stop by the park, this one was not underwater.
Eileen hanging upside-down.
Joseph getting BIG pushes from Nana
Olivia keeping an eye on Papa who was chasing her around
While we were in Madison we also were able to visit with Jonathan, Sigan and Amelia- Amelia is getting so big and so cute!
Such a pretty girl
Daddy and daughter
The remainder of the weekend involved a lot of rain, which kept us all inside for long periods of time. Papa was nice enough to go out and get each of the kids a workbook to keep them busy.
Joseph, Papa and Eileen looking through the activity books. Eileen is pouting because Joseph wouldn't share his Cars crayons.
Olivia and Nana pulling on a wish bone, Olivia won this time.
Finally on Sunday, before all the rain turned to snow Nana and Papa took us to the indoor park that Olivia was able to visit on her special weekend with Nana and Papa. The kids had the best time!
Olivia and Eileen on the climbing wall
Olivia working the hula hoop
Of course Joseph's first stop was the balls
Eileen decided to climb the rope swing, she made it all the way to the top and was so proud of herself (it made Nana a bit sick to watch but she didn't stop her).
On her way up...
still climbing...
she made it!
Olivia liked swinging on the rope
Joseph thought it was wonderful to have Papa push him around in the toy car
Eileen and Olivia coming down the "Super Fast Slide!" (I'm not sure but I think you have to yell that).
Olivia really enjoyed being able to watch herself while she was swinging.
Joseph figured out how to use the hippity hop ball (is that what those things are called?)
It was super funny to watch him on this thing, bouncing up and down all around the gym.
