We have been having fun this July!!
We began the month like most people by celebrating the 4th of July. Here in "The Falls" the fireworks are on the 3rd so we went to our usual spot and waited for the big show. I could not believe how cool it was out that night, it was so nice to wear pants and a sweatshirt (this also helped with all of the horrible mosquitoes we have had!)

On the 4th Bryan helped a friend put in a pier on Wind Lake, so after all the hard work was done we got to go out on the boat.

When we got home that night we had fun playing with water balloons, the kids liked just throwing them while Bryan and I were a bit more tactical in our tossing.

Joseph LOVES playing baseball, or possibly he just really likes to hit things

On the 5th we went to Krista and Carl's for an Independence Day celebration.

Before we left Bryan had to try out the snakes, the kids liked them but Bryan's memory of them was more impressive than reality.

Eileen had so much fun catching fireflies

Nathan and Joseph joy riding

Joseph liked the sparklers, but they did make him a bit nervous

Enjoying some smores by the fire pit
The kids are enjoying having everyone home, but I think it has brought out the goof ball in Joseph even more!

He thought it was so funny to have his towel wrapped around him like this

I am now another year older, 32, and had another great birthday! Bryan let me sleep in, and took the girls to get me an egg Mc muffin for breakfast! When I got up I got to read the paper (and it was a Sunday so that made it extra special).

The kids got me some great gifts and some very precious homemade cards, this one is from Olivia.

Finally at the end of the day the kids got what they were waiting for, cake!!
The kids and I finally made our first trip to the zoo last week!! They were so happy to be back, I think we will go again soon.

Joseph was thrilled to see "Momma Jaguar!"

Eileen with her new favorite the pink flamingos, she wants to eat a lot of shrimp now so she can turn pink too!
The high school re-did their track this year so we went to check it out and Bryan led us in a mini practice. The kids had so much fun and really impressed me, the girls each ran a mile total, and one lap was all alone! They were so proud of them selves. After all that running Bryan took them over to the jump pits for some drills, but that was cut short by Joseph playing in the sand.

After all that running we needed to cool down in the pool
