Eileen lost her first tooth!
This tooth has been "loose" for over a year, today after school she let me pull it. It is a very exciting day at the Tocco house, St. Nick and the Tooth Fairy coming on the same night!

November
The month began with a sense of hope,
http://www.mtv.com/videos/william/316448/its-a-new-day.jhtml

The kids loved their cookies!

We had our last Saturday Swim in November, the pictures are not working well from this so...
The kids loved their lessons and they all passed on to the next level, but Bryan and I will not miss the 3 kid switch on Saturday mornings!

We had insulation blown in the attic this year, but to save some money Bryan installed the vents himself, not a fun job!

The week of Thanksgiving began with Amelia's baptism. She was baptised at St. Thomas the day before Jonathan and Sigan's first anniversary!

Bryan and his Goddaughter, Amelia is wearing the gown my grandmother wore, my mom wore, I wore and my daughters wore.

The kids and I stayed the whole week since they had the week off of school and we were coming back. The kids had so much fun with Nana and Papa and the rest of the family. The poor boys (now men) spent most of the week up on Nana and Papa's roof fixing a leak! The girls had a wonderful afternoon with Rachel at their American Girl party, thanks Rachel!

Olivia and Papa
Eileen, Olivia and Papa-I wonder what was upsetting Olivia?

We are off to a great start in December lots of snow to make it really feel like winter, lots of projects, cooking and work to be done but we are looking forward to all of it. No pictures yet as we have not yet selected our Christmas picture!

OK, this is my third attempt at this entry (3rd times a charm-right?)
I know that there is a lot to update so I will try to be brief.

October
We began the month helping the village prepare for Halloween. Every year "downtown" hosts a business trick-or-treat followed by a Spooky Walk through Lime Kiln Park. The art stdio hosted an event inviting the kids in the village to come and paint a ghost that would then be hung in the woods for the walk. All three kids had a blast painting their ghost and then getting their first Halloween treat.

Next we celebrated Nathan's 6th birthday, the kids always have the most fun at Auntie Krista's house!

Joseph trying out Nathan's new toy, he looked so funny in it!

Last year we spent so much time collecting beautiful leaves for Jonathan and Sigan's wedding, this year we kept them for ourselves! Olivia had so much fun making her design...
Joseph on the other hand just could not believe that I gave him scissors and spent the entire time just cutting the leaves!

Mid-month we went to Madison for Amelia's meet and greet, this was also the weekend Bryan was asked to be her Godfather.

A rare family picture taken post-party.

With autumn comes raking (not my favorite job), Bryan and Olivia cleaned up the leaves while I took pictures!
she took a spill while Bryan had the blower going!

As a special treat Bryan pulled the girls out of school (OK, only Eileen since it was in the afternoon and Olivia only goes in the morning) and took them to High School Musical 3! They were so excited! I wish I had been there because apparently after this picture was taken they managed to knock down the entire display! Sorry no pictures of that.

We are finally approaching Halloween!
The day before Halloween we went trick-or-treating downtown, this year Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Krista, Brenden, and Nathan went with us, Uncle Eric and Missy joined up with us a bit later.
Joseph tried so hard to keep up with the big kids!

Eileen and Olivia
Olivia and Joseph taking a ride in the wagon. We had so much fun, it was great to have so much help too! Eric thanks for the shoulder ride for Eileen when she got too scared during the walk in the woods!

Halloween night when Bryan came home from work he took the kids out, Joseph did the circle we live on then came home to hand out candy with Mom. The girls went a bit further.
Eating dinner (macaroni and blood!) while we wait for Daddy to get home!

sorry, not so brief.

Yes We Can!!!
I know that I have a lot to update, I just wanted to remind everyone to go VOTE!! The kids and I got up early to go before school, we were #80, now we are home waiting for school to start. The kids are loaded up and ready to go B-rock the vote!

The kids after we voted, Olivia wanted to save her sticker until after she voted in her classroom.

Back to the Apple Orchard!
Well, if you can believe it we are already through all of our apples! Yesterday Eileen had a half day (Olivia only goes in the morning), so after lunch we took a trip back to the apple orchard. The kids had a blast (this time they knew what they were doing!). We picked Spartan, Jonathan, Red Delicious, and Cortland. Today Joseph and I worked on turning some of those red beauties into applesauce and apple butter. After they were put through the food mill, I did my first canning!! I am so excited, and as far as I can tell it was a success (the lids did exactly what the book and Mom said they should).

Joseph found some great apples

By the way,

GO BREWERS!!!
What a great weekend!
Swimming lessons began this week, it is one of the activities that the kids do just with Bryan (ok, I help with transport since all 3 go at different times and Bryan has to be in the pool with 2 of them.)We also took advantage of the beautiful weather (I didn't realize that it would be the last of it!), and went to the apple orchard. We all had such a great time picking different varieties of apples and then on Sunday the kids got to help make applesauce. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Olivia sitting on the deck while Bryan tries to coax her into the water. She always gets so cold and just wants to go.

Joseph and Bryan listening to the teacher give the directions to everyone before getting in the water.

Eileen goes in the water by herself now, she was a bit nervous but was so excited that she had done that with out any help from Mom and Dad!

Bryan with the kids following him going to pick some apples

Eileen gathering her apples

Olivia trying her best to keep everything straight

Joseph loved that he could pick the apples too!
He couldn't wait to show me what he got!

Joseph was done by the time we took this picture, such is life!

Bryan carrying out all the fruits of our labor!!

We have used about half our bushel, they sit there just waiting for me to do something with them! If you have any ideas please share!
